A VILLAGE art gallery will show-off paintings from its residents whilst celebrating the beauty of nature, in a historic venue.

Wonky Wheel Gallery, in Finchingfield, is hosting its free British Wildlife Exhibition at Finchingfield’s Guildhall with a special preview event on May 3 before its public event opens May 4 to 6.

The aim of the event is to highlight the wonders of British wildlife and it will feature the three artists, Laura Beardsell-Moore, Debbie Knight, and Josh Donnelly, and their work.

You can expect to see paintings of majestic birds, hares,  beavers and a diverse range of wildlife captured in the artworks.

According to a Wonky Wheel Gallery spokesman, each painting in the exhibition not only symbolises a deep connection to the natural world, but also demonstrates a deep respect for the creatures that inhabit it.

The special preview will provide select audiences with an early opportunity to view the paintings before the general public get to.

During the exhibition’s run from May 4 to 6, guests are welcome to enjoy the curated collection from 11am to 4pm each day.

Finchingfield Guildhall is a grade one listed building situated in Church Hill.
