MEMBERS at The Hedingham Sports and Social Club enjoyed a treat last weekend when they got a sneak peak of a top 80s star.
KITT, the all-action, talking car from the 1980s TV show Knight Rider, arrived at the club ahead of its 30th anniversary next Friday.
The social club is celebrating 30 years in its current location with an 80s-themed night with a number of 80s-themed attractions.
KITT will be accompanied by a ZX spectrum, 80s phones, 80s games, 80s music and, most importantly, 80s clothing.
The club was run solely by volunteers until 2014 when Derek and Tracey Ashmeade took over at the helm with the aim of rejuvenating the club.
But since Derek and Tracey took over, it has gone from strength to strength and once again is an essential part of the community.
And the dynamic duo behind the bar are hoping to celebrate the club’s 30th anniversary in style.
Entry will be free to members, families and friends from 8pm to late.
