Schoolchildren travelled back in time to Medieval England.
Year Six pupils at Richard de Clare School, in Halstead, are studying Lord Tennyson’s poem The Lady of Shallot and are looking into the history and class system of the era.
The children and staff dressed up as serfs, lords, knights, kings and queens and played Medieval games in the morning.
In the afternoon, they had a banquet with jesters and knighthoods were given out.
